Okay I’m late with this as I’m catching up from holidays. While I like Abraham because he wandered, we called our adopted kitten Columbus for the same reason , he explored everything. Hope the cat now has a name.

I vote for keeping it Nancy, too. Kinda like the mixed-up-gender name, and I’m sure he wouldn’t mind what he’s called as long as he is called!

Cats are wonderful pets, good for kids and ours even woke my husband up by getting on his chest while sleeping to a fire outside. She kept jumping up on him until he woke up. That was 15 years ago. She’s a blessing. Our home could have burned down, and I could have lost my husband. So I’m very grateful for her.

Your kitty is adorable, and his eyes are beautiful! I’m glad you kept him for the kids! Whatever you name him, he’s very handsome!

I have sooooo many stories about “Momma Cat” who wondered up to our house many years ago. Yes, she was named that because she had her some babies shortly after she arrived. I’ll end the story there. ;)

I think you should name him Nancy and leave it at that!! Ha!

On another note, my older brothers went to school when I was born and said, “I have a baby sister named Mark.”

Hey Lisa — so excited about your new space at church. That’s wonderful. When DD1 got married last year I took her bedroom as my snazzy office — and the lime green walls work well for my spirit. After years of working in the basement, I love being above ground.
As for cats…. I love them! Our baby girl just got a kitty — Oliver…. don’t know why she picked the name but it works.
