We do a weekend retreat every other year, and once a month Sept. – April we have one night called “Sisterhood.” Sometimes there’s a speaker, and sometimes a project everyone works on (like tying blankets for our city’s shelter), and there’s always free time to visit together.

I love this dinner — the young adults’ group did something similar last year . . . the guys cooked dinner to honor the women in the group and make them feel special on Valentine’s Day.

Girl, you know I love me some decorating! Especially, when there aren’t any husbands to complain about how girly it is!! I loved being there with all the girls! I think God sends us great girlfriends as fuel when our tanks are running empty! Love ya!

OH no you didnt! If I had known that picture would have seen the light of day I would have done something a little cuter like Nikki did…hahaha
Wouldn’t you know that’s the ONLY picture you have of me that night~! hahaha

I had so much fun and am so glad I could be there…even if Luke almost slung butter in my face…ha

The food, singing, laughter, and Mary Synder was awesome but the highlight of my night would have to be the door prize!!! If I could go back in time I would have toned my excitement down a little …..ha You have no idea what that means to me…I LOVE our retreats and we have been in some serious financial hardships lately so it is so timely!
