As Coca-Cola lovers, I may have to store away your tradition for when the girls are allowed soft drinks. And laughing with comisseration over the praying over assembly tradition. Last year we had to build a John Deere tractor that the girls could ride in together (battery operated, goes 5mph!) in the outdoors over 8 hours of building so that Grandad’s present would be the coolest.

After a somewhat stressful day (hubby sick with round 2 of the flu, oldest son sprained his ankle, and 20 people coming for lunch in apx. 12 hrs.) – I needed the laugh about Dewayne! I’ve enjoyed reading of your Christmas traditions.

Lisa, I absolutely LOVE Christmas Plays, Cantatas and Live Nativities.

LOVE the glass bottled coke idea! That’s so cool. I wouldn’t mind doing something like that. With Diet Coke, of course. ;)
