WFMW – Freezing Fresh Corn
Summer is the time for fresh veggies and my personal favorite is fresh corn on the cob. I have ‘put up’ corn for the last 6 years, but mine is never as tasty as my hubby’s grandmas…Her secret? She blanches the corn on the cob, then wraps each ear individually first in Saran
Wrap, then foil. She then places the ears in a Ziploc bag. We ate some out of her freezer a few weeks back and it was Perfection!
It’s a little more work, but having fresh corn in the winter? That Works for Me! :)

A great idea, I might have to try this! (o:

I’ll put up some extras when the corn comes on. there’s nothing better than fresh corn in the winter.
I needed this a couple of weeks ago. I’ll remember it for next time. Thanks!
