A Little Break
I typically don’t announce a blogging break simply because the ones I generally take are not planned. However, this time it is planned and I just thought I would let you know so you could schedule your reading accordingly. {Oh, I kid.}
I do have a couple of giveaways I’ll be announcing so watch your readers for those but in the meantime, I intend on not pressuring myself to add blog-writing to a very long list of to-do’s. What I do intend on doing is savoring these last few days of 2008 with my family and praying about some things I would like to take place around here for the next year.
I’ll pop in periodically over the next week or so, but for now, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
p.s. Am I the only blog on the planet who doesn’t have a Boomama Christmas Home Tour posted today? Seriously. 600+!! You go, Sophie!
I’ll miss you! Merry Christmas.
I don’t have a Christmas tour on Boomama either. After 364, it just seems like too many homes to see! ha.
Sorry to tell you this, but you’re starting your savoring a year in advance…I guess that’s one way to get things done :-)
Have a wonderful Christmas! I don’t have a Home Tour post either. 600+? Wow. :o
No you aren’t the only one not on Boo Mama’s list. But my excuse is we just moved back in this past weekend from all of the damage Hurricane Ike caused. Just in time for Christmas and for me to put up our tree! Have a Merry Christmas and we will see you when you get back!
Merry Christmas, Lisa!
Xandra
Have a great break – I’ll be doing that next week! And, so far, there are now at least 720 on BooMama’s tour of homes! Amazing!!!
Merry Christmas to you and your dear family!
I barely have ornaments on my tree! So no, you aren’t the only one who didn’t post for the Tour!
Christmas Blessings to you!
Hey girl, you enjoy that family!
Remember…His burden is light and easy…Matt 11:28
Don’t fall prey to a heavy burden thinking that it’s yours.
Much love,
Sue
gasp.
I too have been feeling the need for a break…
So, I’m gonna do the “best of 2008” series = a really cheezy way to re-post instead of writing through the holidays! :)
I’m right behind you!! Mine begins very soon! Love ya girl.
Merry Christmas and Happy 2009!!
Love,
Fran

Good for you Lisa! Everyone needs to take a break once in a while and they need to know when it’s time to take one. :) Merry Christmas! blessings, marlene
Enjoy your blogging break!
Enjoy the break! I didn’t take part in Boo Mama’s tour — I just couldn’t get my act together to get the pictures uploaded — now that is sad. Apparently, I need to take a break, too.
Didn’t do the boomama tour this year either. My stuff has been up and ready since thanksgiving but it didn’t seem like what I was supposed to do this time. 900+ now. So glad for boo’s mom that it’s something internets really enjoy. And as for you sweet thing, I hope your Christmas is full of the presence of the LORD you so love and honor and represent. It’s a beautiful LORD pouring out of you Lisa! Beautiful One! Psalm 50:2…I’m not checking the reference and watch it be like the last time I put the wrong ref down. Smile. Let me know if I just told you to go on a trip or something!
I’ll miss you, but have a wonderful time with your family!
boo mama… who is she??? LOL
Lisa… we know and love her.
Have a great respite with your family. I hope everyone who reads does the same… takes a break and enjoys this time.
I didn’t do Boo’s tour this year either. Just SO many…which I am loving by the way…
I just posted a video Christmas card and kind of did my own little tour. :)
Have a wonderful break and enjoy that beautiful family!
Blessings,
steph.
You will be missed…but you have set a great example for the rest of us. I plan to take some days off in the next week or so as well.
Happy Holidays! And thanks for the blessing you are to the blogging world.
:-) Susan
Lisa, what joy you have brought me this year. Perhaps you should post some “best of’s.” I did not do the Boo, either.
Lisa,
Just wanted to let you know that I laughed SO HARD at Dave Barnes’ video. I’ve shown it to a bunch of my friends and we all belly laugh every time we watch it! Thanks for sharing the laughter.
Enjoy the break, and have a blessed Christmas.
Adele
Sounds very wise. :) Enjoy your break!
And I am amused that your word verif is calling me a “dyinmess.”
Lisa:
I don;t have Boomama either, but I posted my living room all decorated on my blog anyway! See ya after the first!
Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Lisa,
I wanted to stop in and wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and tell you how much I have enjoyed the writings from your heart this past year!
Merry Christmas!
Laurie
