It’s Retreat Time Again! (Announcement for the Locals)
For those of you in my area, (you know who you are, my Homies!), here is the official flyer for our annual women’s retreat taking place March 13-14th in Pigeon Forge, TN.
The theme this year is ‘Stronger: Preparing for the Fight of Your Life’ and is based out of Paul’s exhortation in 1 Corinthians 16:13-14. After the personal, financial, social, and ultimately spiritual beatings we’ve taken in 2008, we need a time to gain fresh courage for the next round of battles. Spend a weekend in God’s corner as He tends to your wounds and infuses you with strength to go back into the ring!
Several of you from neighboring churches have expressed interest in attending this year and I certainly hope you are still planning to join us. So I can be certain we’ve planned for adequate cabin space, please email me with the size of your group. When you do, I’ll send additional conference details to help with your planning. There is also a registration form available at church for those of you in my home fellowship.
I’m beside myself in anticipation for what God will accomplish among us this year. I’m still not over how He bonded our group from the last trip! I love you all dearly and hope to see you there.

Oh girl,
I wish I lived in your neck of the woods. This sounds like exactly what I need. Had the rug pulled out from under me last night concerning my ministry and that hard thump to the floor is taking all my strength to simply pull myself up to the sitting position.
