You are one of my favortite writers. I have been there and done that with recipes. I am glad I am not the only one. Just last week I decided to make brownies in my new silicone (shaped in a “T”) bakeware. I decided to do this w/out wearing my reading glasses and suffice it to say, I added all the wrong amounts of everything and it was brownie soup. I sent Georgia back to the store so I could redeem myself, and it gave me a chance to find my reading glasses. I loved how you tied this into a spiritual application for us. A fresh perspective is what we need a lot of times instead of quitting altogether!!
Lisa, I love the article. I was laughing so hard as I can totally relate to the cooking thing. So many times I dont understand what the ingredients are. I’m thankful for the internet. When I married my husband (19 years ago), he thought I was a great cook. I’d have him over for dinner when we were dating, but what he didnt know is that I picked up meals from Mom’s and her friend’s house and brought home and serve him as if I cooked it. Needless to say, I’ve had to learn to cook. Still 19 years later, I’m not much better & Mom lives too far away. Great lesson. Thanks. BTW–the “I AM” Bible Study has ministered to me in many wonderful ways. Thank you.
