An Awesomely Cool Award

My friend Xandra at Heart of Service sent this great award my way she created! Xandra participated in the I AM Study and there isn’t a more precious girl around.

She describes the award this way:

So here’s to all the blogs that you’ve discovered that you can’t possibly live without. They make you laugh, cry, think and feel connected every time you read a post. They give you a thrill as you see them loading into your browser and you get an equally satisfying thrill when you see that they have commented on your blog
.

Okay, so I am supposed to name five of my daily reads. Thing is, I’m a terribly daily reader but here is a sampling of the ones I get to as often as humanly possible.

Kelli @ Love Well – I heart Kelli. We are on baby watch since she’s due anytime now. Kelli makes me laugh and her husband interjecting in her comments when she has insulted his beautiful wife absolutely makes me crazy about them as a couple.

Vicki Courtney – Vicki was gracious enough to me a few months back to send a box of goodies for you girls when I told her I was reviewing a book of hers. I love to read her blog to find out what she’s writing and her take on events in pop culture that affect our kids. Even cooler than that, she even comes here sometimes and THAT makes my day. Because she’s famous and stuff. And I’m so – NOT. lol (Messing with you Vickie!) Anyway, she agreed to be my blog bff and that would be one of the highlights of my 2007.

CWO Internet Cafe Team Blog – Many of the girls I read daily are also a part of my blogging family at the Internet Cafe. I encourage you to go there daily for your devotions and to visit each of the girls’ personal blogs while you are at it. You’ll never be disappointed.

All my church girls – Deb, Brooke,Deedra, Cheryl, Jenny, and Melissa
We have a bit of a blogging epidemic in my church – one that thrills me to no end. I love these girls with all my heart and each of them bless me in their own unique way.

Scribbit
Michelle is one of the coolest girls I don’t know. She makes me laugh my head off, gives great recommendations on anything from toys to books, has mad knitting skillz, cooks like a madwoman, and lives in Alaska. She’s like Martha Stewart on steroids and I love visiting her. (I was going to say ‘on crack’ but didn’t know if she’d appreciate that reference…Steroids is so much more flattering..:) I love it even more that she always responds to my comments. No matter how weird they are..:)

Lisa Writes – My sister from another mother. Her New Year post was breath-taking.

Living Proof Ministries

Okay, so Beth isn’t going to post this on her blog but I desperately love all the Siestas and can not WAIT to see them in San Antonio in August! I often visit the other girls who have commented on posts there and am proud to feel like one of them! This includes Amanda, Patty, Kim, Shelly, Leigh, Jenny, Lindsee, Ang, Janelle and so many more I know I’m forgetting right now.

Okay, so that’s five plus! If you are on this list and want to pass this award on, choose five of your own favorite reads and post them to your blog for us to read. Don’t forget to let me know when you’ve posted!

I also want to encourage you to go see my friend Linda who has just dove in to the blogging world. Her blog is Mocha with Linda. She’d appreciate your encouraging comments on her debut posts!

Thanks again, Xandra for this fun award…You’ve been a great daily dose for me today!
