Some Groovy Techie Stuff

I know many of you check in with your daily blogs on readers such as Bloglines, etc. Well I have a new reader to tell you about that will be of great interest to you on the Married to the Ministry Blogroll as well as anyone else who wants to be sure to follow Christian content.

I have created a group on a new site called Church Weblogs. I’ve not updated it lately, but the idea is that you will be able to view all of the M2M blogs in one reader instead of going through the blogroll every time. I really can’t explain it well without your taking a look at it, so head over and let me know what you think! Once you arrive at the homepage, look to the right hand column for our listing. We are currently #2 in the most active webrings. You girls can crank out some posts!

Once you’ve selected our group you will be able to see the listed blogs. If you are a ministry wife and yours is not shown yet, choose “Add Weblog” and I will be able to approve your addition.

And if you haven’t noticed, I’m Twittering! I thought it was kind of dumb at first but it’s actually some fun stuff. Don’t we all need one more reason to waste time on the computer? If you do, follow me at lisathepw.

Hi... I'm Lisa and as the tagline says, also a preacher's wife. I began this website in 2007 just prior to the Facebook revolution when mom blogs were a relatively conflict-free zone for sharing recipes and stories about our latest parenting fails. Fast-forward a few years... Luke and I continue to serve the same family of believers in North Alabama where we've called home for over 16 years. The boys are grown and gone, we have an incredible daughter-in-law and the baby McKay is living her best life as an only child while working and going to college. I am a full-time corporate employee and still love to write and teach Scripture. The last two years haven't been kind to public events but it's been during these trying times that the Lord has revealed the importance of the local church reclaiming discipleship using the gifts of those within the body. The time feels right to refresh the blog as a platform for sharing how God has worked through this process and perhaps encourage other churches to follow. And who knows, there may even be a recipe or more parenting fails. Those don't stop when your kids become adults. Thank you for visiting.. I look forward to connecting!
